Inspired by Helen

Helen Chilton is the guest designer this week at Paperartsy.   I love the splatt technique, although I have just found some odd spots on my computer screen, never was very tidy!!! I used Distressed Stains - Dusty Concord, Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Wild Honey, Faded Jeans and a bit of Picket Fence. For the stamping my first effort I used 1009 (I prefer the results on this one the bleaching worked better) and for my second one I used 1109, splatts are more spaced out on this one and this spaced out technique I often use for scrapbook background paper.

Sunday Stamper - Bird

Here is my little jewelled bird, sorry not as much stamping as I would have liked, but loved playing with stencils and texture paste, liquid gold etc etc.

Things I did earlier

The the canvas pictured currently hang in my bathroom, I took just a plan white canvas and coloured with Adirondack Dabbers, stamped and coloured stamp pictures. I am/was very pleased with then but now think I can improve a bit. Since learning new techniques.
